Conjoined twins from J&K separated by rare surgery.

Surgeons and team of other physicians of a hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana helped two months old conjoined twins -Saboora and Safoora by separating them. They shared a single liver which was dissected and both got different lobes of liver. This surgery was possible because the intestines were not connected but floating in the others abdomen. The surgery was conducted by a huge team of doctors consisting of Gastro surgeons, Plastic surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Anesthesiologists and other paramedical staff. Many such surgeries are done in the world but this was India's first reported case.
